Filler, Biostimulation or Collagen Stimulator?
While dermal fillers are primarily used to restore or enhance volume by adding immediate structure beneath the skin, biostimulation and collagen stimulators work differently.
Rather than filling, they trigger the skin’s own regenerative response.
Biostimulators such as Sculptra or Ellansé gradually stimulate collagen production over time, improving firmness and density.
Bioremodelling treatments, like those based on hyaluronic acid, focus more on deep hydration and tissue quality. Each approach targets a different need — whether it’s contour, support, or skin vitality — and they are often used in combination for a more complete and natural result.

My approach is based on careful analysis of facial proportions, symmetry, and soft tissue quality. Before choosing a treatment, I assess whether the issue is related to volume loss, skin quality, or tissue laxity.
In some patients, the face still has enough volume, but it has shifted downward over time. In these cases, the goal is to reposition rather than add. In slimmer faces, however, we may need to restore volume strategically using fillers.
When the skin appears thin or tired, I may recommend biostimulation or deep hydration instead of volumising — especially if the concern lies more in texture and tone than structure.
The key is to listen to your needs and choose the most conservative, personalised approach to achieve a natural, balanced result — without overcorrection.
