How It Works
Profhilo contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, but its formulation is engineered to spread evenly under the skin, rather than stay in place like a filler.
Once injected in specific bio-aesthetic points, it flows through the tissue, attracting water and stimulating fibroblasts to increase collagen and elastin.
I perform the treatment using precise technique and high-quality instruments to minimise discomfort and ensure even distribution.

Is it a filler?
No — Profhilo doesn’t add volume. It works by hydrating and stimulating collagen, improving skin texture and firmness without altering your facial structure.
How many sessions do I need?
Usually two, spaced 4 weeks apart. In some cases, a third session may be advised for enhanced results.
Is it painful?
No — the injections are shallow and performed with a fine needle. Some patients feel mild stinging, but it lasts only seconds.
When will I see results?
You may notice a “glow” within days, but true results build gradually over 2–6 weeks as your skin begins to produce collagen.
Can I combine Profhilo with other treatments?
Yes — Profhilo is often combined with Botox, threads, or fillers as part of a full rejuvenation plan. It’s also ideal as a “starter” treatment for first-time patients.
Will there be bumps or marks?
Small bumps at the injection points are normal and usually fade within 12–24 hours.

What’s the difference between polynucleotides, exosomes and Profhilo?
These are all injectable skin treatments used to improve hydration, texture, and skin regeneration, but they work in different ways. Profhilo is a pure hyaluronic acid that spreads through the tissue to deeply hydrate and stimulate elastin and collagen. Polynucleotides are derived from DNA fragments and help repair damaged skin, reduce inflammation, and improve firmness — often used for delicate areas like the eyes or acne-prone skin. Exosomes are cell-derived messengers rich in growth factors that target inflammation, pigmentation and ageing at a cellular level. While Profhilo focuses on hydration and glow, polynucleotides support structural repair, and exosomes deliver advanced regenerative signalling. In clinic, I often use them as standalone or combination treatments based on your skin’s needs.
